Hey friends! I’m making an effort to get back into blogging about fashion more often going forward since I’m not working at the boutique anymore. I figured it was a good way for me to keep a foot in the door in the fashion world and help you gals find some deals at the same time. So, without further ado, here are a few of the items on my Fall Fashion Wishlist!
A Wide Brim Hat
Okay, one of the things I’ve really been wanting and haven’t splurged on yet is a taupe or gray hat! While it won’t get much cooler in Florida until at least November/December, this is a fall accessory that will still work in the heat! I can see myself pairing one of the hats with so many of my basic dresses.
A Denim Jacket
Surprise! I don’t own a denim jacket, however, I am totally loving this one from Old Navy. It’s so much cuter in person and it’s got the perfect amount of stretch and tailoring while still being relaxed. I’ve tried it on at the store and I’m just waiting for it to go on sale a little bit before I actually snag it, since we really don’t need extra layers yet (or often) here in South Florida. It’s almost identical to a much more expensive version by Mavi!
Block Heel Sandals
If you can’t tell by my Instagram, your girl LOVES some neutral shoes! Another thing I don’t own yet is a pair of block heels! I know they’ve been in style now for a few years but it’s taken me a little while to come to terms with a heel that’s between a wedge and a stiletto. Maybe they aren’t as sexy as a stiletto, but as I’m getting older, comfort in my wardrobe is getting a lot more important than edginess. I happen to think these four options are a good balance of practical and cute. The price isn’t bad either!
Fall Colored Dresses and Rompers
By now you all know I live in dresses and rompers! Since we don’t have a “real” fall here in terms of weather, one of our only options for ways to switch things up in our wardrobe is to change our color palettes. I’m really liking olive, green, burgundy, dark grey and “greige” for fall. I think this little green dress from Amazon that comes in lots of colors is just darling along with this pumpkin-spice colored romper from one of my new favorite places to shop, Princess Polly. I love them both for my upcoming trip to Savannah so you may likely see them hitting my IG feed next month! Stay tuned.
So that’s not nearly everything on my Fall Fashion Wishlist but I didn’t want to overwhelm you LOL. Just a note, I do use some affiliate links in my posts so if you end up making a purchase through my link I do make a small commission 🙂 As always thanks for stopping by and if you enjoy these kinds of posts let me know so I can do more of them!
Happy Almost Fall <3
