Valentine’s Day is probably the most cliche holiday of all. Some people love it, some people hate it, and I guess I’d say I’m somewhere in the middle. While you should be showing your partner you love them every day, I still think it’s nice to express a little love on Vday too, even if it’s just a homemade dinner and a card. If you prefer to go the gift-giving route, check out a few of my “Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him” picks below ❤
If you’re okay with spending a little bit of money, I’m going to suggest the first few items.
I got my boyfriend a pair of RayBans for Valentine’s Day last year. While they are a bit pricey, it’s a great way to help your man up his style game. If you think he will take good care of them, I would highly suggest grabbing a pair for him. A huge plus is that a lot of RayBan sunnies are unisex, so you can borrow them once in a while too 😉
When you get your man cologne, you are also giving yourself the gift of having him smell good. So it’s really a win/win! My personal favorite men’s scents are Bleu De Chanel, and Dolce & Gabanna the One Gentleman. Also, I highly recommend hitting up TJ Maxx’s cologne section if you’re on a tight budget. They tend to have colognes and perfumes for about $20-$30 cheaper than you would find them at the department store.
Budget Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him
So this might be the best $13.99 you ever spend! My co-worker and friend got me hooked on this awesome little phone mount. Let’s face it, the suction-cup car phone mount just doesn’t work very well, and the air vent mount blocks your air flow, which in Florida is just not okay. Enter the magnetic CD slot phone mount. The magnet is super strong! You just stick one magnet to the inside of your phone case, and place your phone up to the mount and bam, you’re done. It’s cheap and its a useful and great gift. I’m a big fan of receiving gifts that make my life easier.
If you don’t believe in giving gifts on V-day, I think the least you can do is pick out a thoughtful card. I am not a big fan of Hallmark cards, I like something a little more personal. Etsy is a great spot to find tons of beautiful handmade cards for just about every occasion. My boyfriend and I love the TV show “The Office”, so for his birthday, I got him the “You’re the Jim to my Pam” card from Esty. I also use the website Canva.com a lot to make social media graphics, so for the second card, I designed an image on Canva, then uploaded it to Shutterfly and had it made into a card. I love personalizing holidays so much and Vday is the perfect one for that.
So those are a few of my Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him ideas! I’d love to hear some other ideas from you all! Let me know what you end up doing 🙂
